As Election Day\, Tuesday\, November 8th\, approaches\, the Chamber is thrilled to host Virtual Candidate Conversations to connect candidates with the community.\n\n\n\nThis Conversation will focus on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors District 5 seat featuring the incumbent Supervisor Jim Desmond.  Tiffany Boyd-Hodgson was invited to attend\, yet is unable to do so due to scheduling conflicts.\n\n\n\nCurious to see if you live in San Diego County District 5? Desmond Graduated from San Diego State University with an engineering degree before starting a very successful local small business.  As Supervisor\, Desmond opposed Sacramento's attempt at placing Sexually Violent Predators in neighborhoods.  He also played a crucial role in creating Community Centers to address Mental Health and Addiction.  He and his wife Kerri have been married for 36 years\, live in Oceanside\, and have two grown children.
