In addition\, Mr. Daugherty crafts employee handbooks\, company policies\, arbitration and severance agreements\, and ensures clients' existing documents and procedures are up-to-date with current state and federal laws.\n		\n		\n			 \n			 \n			 \n		\n		\n			\n			 \n			Gunnar Newquist\, \n\n			Special Agent In Charge\, US Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS)\n\n			\n\n			Gunnar Newquist assumed duties as Special Agent in Charge of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service\, Southwest Field Office in June 2014\, overseeing investigative efforts throughout California and Mexico. NCIS is responsible for investigating felony crime\, preventing terrorism\, and protecting secrets for active duty Navy\, Marine Corps and civilians who make up the Department of the Navy (DON) worldwide.   Newquist began his NCIS career at Naval Air Station Moffett Field\, CA and has been assigned to operational offices in Naples Italy\, Oahu Hawaii\, San Jose\, Monterey and San Diego California.  Newquist has also represented NCIS as the Staff Counterintelligence Officer for the US Navy's Third Fleet.    Newquist has been assigned to the FBI while working on the Joint Terrorism Task Force (9/01- 03/04) and the Chi Mak espionage investigation (3/04- 9/05).  As a Special Agent\, Newquist has been most successful at running national security investigations and operations which have identified and neutralized threats to foreign intelligence threats to US Navy personnel\, operations and sensitive technology.
