North San Diego Business Chamber's Small Business Forum is an environment for small business owners and leaders to discuss topics directly affecting them and share current challenges and best practices in a collaborative environment while gaining essential knowledge on small business-focused topics each quarter.
Topic: Small Business impacts of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).
Speaker: Jennings Imel, Vice President of Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Before joining the U.S. Chamber in 2013, Jennings worked in Washington, D.C., at the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress and at the public affairs firm Mercury, Clark & Weinstock. Earlier, he worked in the California State Assembly and managed and worked on several successful congressional and state legislative campaigns, mostly in Southern California.
Jennings received a master's degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and bachelor's degrees in political science and German from the University of California, Riverside.
