Recreation Sales Consultant / LA County

Recreation Brands of Southern California (RBSC) is a sales agency founded in 2016 and is a family-owned operation, conceived based on a real business need within the park, playground, public education, and recreational spaces. With an organized and efficient approach during the design and development, backed with a massive portfolio of trustworthy & established product vendors, RBSC is actively doing business with some of the largest and most prominent southern California: land developers, landscape architects, municipalities, school districts and private foundations.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
This is a full time sales role in Los Angeles County and Orange County, with the flexibility and/or availability to also work in the San Diego office 1 day a week. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, product and vendor knowledge, scheduling appointments, presentations and lunch-n-learns with clients, day to day tasks driving inbound sales, develop & maintain new relationships and strategies within territory, cultivate existing relationships, identify new business opportunities, locate ongoing projects to support continued growth of multiple vendor lines. Available to attend trade shows at varying sites across California and beyond, when applicable. Expected to follow and understand industry pillars such as ASTM and CPSI
Qualifications:
- Industry experience preferred, sales experience required (2+ years)
- Proven track record in business development, quota management & sales
- Ability to work both individually and in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills
- Proactive & organized strategy for managing new territories
- Ability to creatively envision and initially design site plans & play spaces
- Proficient with Outlook, LinkedIn, Virtual Meetings, Form Submission
