About Us

Our Mission:

Interfaith Community Services empowers people in need to stabilize and improve their lives through comprehensive programs, in partnership with diverse faith communities and people of compassion.

Our History:

Interfaith Community Services has been helping people help themselves since 1979. When a group of diverse faith communities came together to help their neighbors in need, as well as to stand up to white supremacy, their efforts started a mission that continues today.

Now, Interfaith is the most comprehensive human services agency in North San Diego County. With over 230 dedicated staff, more than 2,300 volunteers, 250+ faith communities, and thousands of community donors, Interfaith offers support to more than 20,000 individuals each year.

Our work is comprised of five main areas:

- Clinical & Behavioral Health
- Employment & Economic Development
- Housing
- Recovery & Wellness
- Supportive Services

Within each department are programs, services, and resources to ensure that everyone in our community has access to food, safe housing, healthcare, and economic opportunity. Services are designed to overlap so that each person has access to as many resources necessary for their situation. We invite you to join us in this mission!
