San Diego, CA - Get ready for an evening where bold achievements meet island vibes. The North San Diego Business Chamber invites the community to its highly anticipated 2025 Celebration of Business, taking place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the stunning Bahia Resort Hotel. This year’s celebration promises a vibrant blend of high-energy networking, meaningful recognition, and festive fun, with Hawaiian shirts encouraged and aloha spirit guaranteed. 

Emceed by Phil Blauer, FOX 5 News Anchor, the event will bring together business and nonprofit leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across San Diego County. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of champagne and treated to an evening filled with connection, community, and celebration. 

At the heart of the night is the 2025 Leadership Awards presentation, honoring 52 remarkable finalists who are making a significant difference in their industries and communities. These finalists represent a wide range of sectors, from healthcare and education to technology, financial services, and nonprofit leadership. Together, they reflect the strength, innovation, and resilience of San Diego’s professional landscape. Among them are representatives from Lucia Capital Group, Neighborhood Healthcare, A Place At Home, San Diego Community Power, The Patriot Group, San Diego Business Journal, Oracle, California State University San Marcos, National University, Feeding San Diego, and many more. Winners will be announced live during the event, recognizing their outstanding contributions and leadership. 

This year’s event also carries a profound note of remembrance, as the Chamber honors the late David Shields, President of Component Surfaces, Inc., who passed away on January 21, 2025. David served as Board Chair and played an instrumental role in bringing the Leadership Awards to life. His legacy as a visionary leader and advocate for business excellence will be honored during the evening’s program, reminding all in attendance of the lasting impact one person can make. 

In addition to the awards celebration, the event will feature a silent and live auction, offering attendees the opportunity to bid on exciting experiences and luxury packages. Items include a VIP game day experience with a signed jersey, a golf outing at The Havens Country Club, a one-night coastal escape at the Alila Marea Beach Resort, a safari adventure at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, a VIP Lift-Off experience at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, and a family day at LEGOLAND California. All auction proceeds will benefit the San Diego North Educational Foundation (SDNEF), supporting vital programs for students and the military community.
